We understand how important it is for your beloved plants to arrive healthy and safe, even in frosty weather. During the cold season, we pay special attention to packaging cacti and succulents to ensure their maximum protection.
How do we take care of plants during shipping in the cold season?
Careful packaging:
Each plant is placed in dry napkins to eliminate excess moisture, which can damage the plants at low temperatures.
We use cotton padding to create an additional layer of insulation and protect the plants from the cold.
Thermal insulation:
Boxes are additionally packed with polystyrene foam to retain heat inside the packaging.
If necessary, we add extra layers of packaging material to minimize exposure to external temperatures.
Thoughtful logistics:
We choose the fastest and most reliable shipping methods so that the plants spend the least possible time in transit.
Recommendations for you:
After receiving your plants, avoid unpacking them immediately if they’ve been exposed to cold for a long time. Allow the package to warm up slightly at room temperature (about 1-2 hours) to prevent sudden temperature changes.
Ensure the spot where you keep your potted plants is well-lit and protected from drafts.
First watering should be done with small amount of fungicide, to support rooting system and to prevent rotting. We use fungicide “switch” for such cases.
Please keep the just received and just potted plants in a shadow, to help them to adjust to sunlight after 1-2 weeks in a dark box.
We are always happy to answer your questions and help you create the best conditions for your new green companions! Your plants are in safe hands—with love, care, and warmth. ❤️
