Obsahuje v\u00edce ne\u017e 2000 druh\u016f, kter\u00e9 se pohybuj\u00ed od n\u00edzk\u00fdch bylinn\u00fdch rostlin a\u017e po velk\u00e9 ke\u0159e a dokonce stromy. Tyto rostliny se vyskytuj\u00ed v r\u016fzn\u00fdch ekosyst\u00e9mech po cel\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b a jsou p\u0159izp\u016fsobeny \u0161irok\u00e9mu spektru klimatick\u00fdch podm\u00ednek. Jednou z jedine\u010dn\u00fdch vlastnost\u00ed mle\u010d\u016f je jejich metoda opylov\u00e1n\u00ed, kter\u00e1 z\u00e1vis\u00ed na n\u011bkolika faktorech, v\u010detn\u011b struktury kv\u011btu a interakce s opylova\u010di.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Morfologick\u00e9 vlastnosti<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kv\u011bty Euphorbia se vyzna\u010duj\u00ed neobvyklou strukturou: m\u00edsto tradi\u010dn\u00edch okv\u011btn\u00edch l\u00edstk\u016f a kali\u0161n\u00edch l\u00edstk\u016f maj\u00ed strukturu naz\u00fdvanou cyathium. Tato struktura spojuje n\u011bkolik mal\u00fdch kv\u011bt\u016f obklopen\u00fdch jasn\u011b zbarven\u00fdmi listeny, kter\u00e9 p\u0159itahuj\u00ed opylova\u010de. Cyathium zahrnuje n\u011bkolik sam\u010d\u00edch kv\u011bt\u016f a jeden sami\u010d\u00ed kv\u011bt, kter\u00e9 jsou \u010dasto odd\u011bleny, aby se zabr\u00e1nilo samopolen\u00ed.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Mechanismy opylov\u00e1n\u00ed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Opylov\u00e1n\u00ed t\u011bchto rostlin z\u00e1vis\u00ed na druhu a m\u016f\u017ee zahrnovat r\u016fzn\u00e9 strategie. N\u011bkter\u00e9 druhy jsou opylov\u00e1ny v\u011btrem, kdy je pyl p\u0159en\u00e1\u0161en vzdu\u0161n\u00fdmi proudy z jedn\u00e9 rostliny na druhou. V\u011bt\u0161ina druh\u016f mle\u010d\u016f v\u0161ak spol\u00e9h\u00e1 na opylov\u00e1n\u00ed hmyzem, zejm\u00e9na v\u010delami, mot\u00fdly a mu\u0161kami. Tito hmyz\u00ed opylova\u010di jsou p\u0159itahov\u00e1ni jasn\u00fdmi listeny a nektarem, kter\u00fd rostliny uvol\u0148uj\u00ed b\u011bhem kveten\u00ed.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Opylov\u00e1n\u00ed ve sb\u00edrk\u00e1ch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jak jsou tyto rostliny opylov\u00e1ny ve sb\u00edrk\u00e1ch? B\u011bhem kveten\u00ed pozorujeme odd\u011blen\u00ed rostlin s sam\u010d\u00edmi a sami\u010d\u00edmi kv\u011bty. Pyl z sam\u010d\u00edch rostlin se \u0161t\u011btcem p\u0159en\u00e1\u0161\u00ed na sami\u010d\u00ed rostliny. Po vytvo\u0159en\u00ed plod\u016f je t\u0159eba semena zabalit do bavlny \u2013 tobolka semene slou\u017e\u00ed jako druh katapultu, kter\u00fd vyst\u0159eluje semena asi 2-3 metry kolem. Semena, zadr\u017eovan\u00e1 v bavln\u011bn\u00e9 chlupatosti, z\u016fst\u00e1vaj\u00ed uvnit\u0159 a pot\u00e9 se snadno sb\u00edraj\u00ed. Lze zas\u00e9vat jak \u010derstv\u00e1, tak i n\u011bkolik m\u011bs\u00edc\u016f star\u00e1 chlazen\u00e1 semena \u2013 rozd\u00edl v kl\u00ed\u010den\u00ed je t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 zanedbateln\u00fd. Mnoho druh\u016f mle\u010d\u016f je p\u0159izp\u016fsobeno specifick\u00e9mu hmyzu, co\u017e ovliv\u0148uje jak morfologick\u00e9 vlastnosti kv\u011bt\u016f, tak i na\u010dasov\u00e1n\u00ed kveten\u00ed. Nap\u0159\u00edklad n\u011bkter\u00e9 druhy se vyvinuly tak, \u017ee jejich vrchol kveten\u00ed se shoduje s obdob\u00edm nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00ed aktivity jejich hlavn\u00edch opylova\u010d\u016f.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Ekologick\u00fd v\u00fdznam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Opylov\u00e1n\u00ed mle\u010d\u016f je v\u00fdznamn\u00e9 nejen pro reprodukci samotn\u00fdch rostlin, ale tak\u00e9 pro udr\u017een\u00ed biodiverzity ekosyst\u00e9m\u016f, ve kter\u00fdch rostou. Opyllova\u010di p\u0159itahovan\u00ed mle\u010di \u010dasto p\u0159isp\u00edvaj\u00ed k opylov\u00e1n\u00ed dal\u0161\u00edch rostlin, co\u017e napom\u00e1h\u00e1 jejich reprodukci a rozptylu. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Z\u00e1v\u011br<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Euphorbia je n\u00e1padn\u00fdm p\u0159\u00edkladem adaptace rostlin na r\u016fzn\u00e9 podm\u00ednky opylov\u00e1n\u00ed a interakce s hmyz\u00edm opylova\u010di.
